SLO

Nick and I drove from Monterey to San Luis Obispo, where we spent the remainder of our trip.  Now that I have spent a few days in San Luis Obispo, I am bound and determined to move there someday.  And by someday, I mean NOW.
We stayed in this bed and breakfast and were the only guests the first night, meaning we had this whole house all to ourselves.  When we got there, we decided to take a little bike ride through the Edna Valley, because it is gorgeous and full of rolling hills and beautiful wineries and glorious open space....something we have so little of.  Nick was embarrassed at how bundled up I was.
The second day we were there, we went to Montana de Oro, where we have camped and biked before, and we went on another bike ride.  So, it looks like all we did on this trip was ride our bikes, but it's really not.  When we are doing outdoor activities Nick loves, he gets picture happy.  Any other time, he is kind of a pill when it comes to pictures.  I take what a can get.  So....lots of biking pictures.
The trail's name is fitting.  On our way down, I hit a rock and flew into the bushes.  Nick refused to help me up until he got a picture of me stuck there.
Beside biking, we probably spent most of the rest of our time with food.  Eating is fun in SLO!
I am so thankful we were able to take this trip.  It was such a refreshing time and so nice to get away from the stress that seems to consume our lives these days.  These trips help remind me how much I love my husband and how good life is with him, no matter our circumstances.  He's a good one to wander with.
