Nick's parents and sister came for a visit a couple weeks ago, sandwiched right between our 80 degree weather. The rain started the day they came and ended the day they left. That didn't stop us from making the most of our time together and enjoying Silas's first thunderstorm. We packed our time full of games, hot tea, storm watching at the beach, and lots of Silas entertainment. We ended the weekend with breakfast at the harbor and our first glimpse of sun all weekend. The rain was a fun little distraction, but I'm so glad we are back to warm, sunny beach days. The family just needs to come back now so we can go to the beach without our coats. Although, I think we'd be fine with rain every weekend if it meant seeing this cuteness all the time.
